Got a lot on my plate, but still sketching… I will post more stuff soon, I promise!
Dustin- your recent sketchbook pages just made my head explode! Fantastic design, composition and color. Are these ink and acrylic washes? I'd say these are awesome... not in a "surfer-dude" way but in an "awe-inspiring" way. Keep it up!
I dont remeber if i ever commented on this blog But great stuff as usual!
Dustin... you are definitely one of my favorite artists... :)
Thanks, To answer your question. The duck story is just something I was working on in my spare time. One painting lead to an other and it became what you see on my blog. I took a cinematic approach to it, as if i took screen shots of what a short movie about a rubber duck could look like. Its definitely a work in progress and something i hope to keep working on in the near future. IN the end, i dont really any have any plans in mind for these paintings. Maybe one day i'll compile them into a book, or someone will be interested in bringing it to life as a cg short who knows!Thank you for your interest!
This is adorable! And awesome work on your whole blog.

Hey, thanks for the kind words on my blog. Your work is certainly fresh. Very deliberate. Those books on your website look real sharp too. Are you binding all of those by hand?
