Dustin- your recent sketchbook pages just made my head explode! Fantastic design, composition and color. Are these ink and acrylic washes? I'd say these are awesome... not in a "surfer-dude" way but in an "awe-inspiring" way. Keep it up!

To answer your question.
The duck story is just something I was working on in my spare time. One painting lead to an other and it became what you see on my blog. I took a cinematic approach to it, as if i took screen shots of what a short movie about a rubber duck could look like. Its definitely a work in progress and something i hope to keep working on in the near future. IN the end, i dont really any have any plans in mind for these paintings. Maybe one day i'll compile them into a book, or someone will be interested in bringing it to life as a cg short who knows!
